The Role
As an SDET1, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software product by developing and executing manual and automated tests, identifying bugs, and working closely with the stakeholders to resolve issues. You will play a critical role in enhancing our test infrastructure and ensuring the reliability of our applications.
- Develop and maintain test plans and test cases,
- Execute manual tests, analyze results, and report bugs.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using playwright or similar.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
- Contribute to improving the test automation coverage and framework efficiency.
- Ensure the CI/CD pipeline is integrated with automated tests.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, playwright, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with testing third party integrations and performance testing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with docker, kubernetes or similar.
