The Opportunity:
Nansen is leveling up its strategic capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and monitor AI models to analyze vast amounts of blockchain data, identifying patterns and insights that drive decision-making for crypto investors. Your contributions will be key to advancing Nansen's mission of surfacing the signal and creating winners in the future of finance.
As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at Nansen, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our platform's capabilities, enabling us to offer a cutting-edge product to our users. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and use of AI/ML models to process and analyze blockchain data, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate AI/ML models into Nansen's platform, enhancing its analytical capabilities and improving user experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI/ML and blockchain technologies, applying innovative approaches to solve complex challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in AI/ML development across the team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align AI/ML initiatives with business objectives and customer needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an AI/ML Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful AI/ML projects.
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with modern AI models, APIs, and SDKs (e.g. OpenAI, LLMs)
- An ability to work full-stack with data; some data engineering experience is a big plus
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment across multiple time zones.
- A passion for blockchain, crypto, and Web3 technologies.
