About the Role- Join us in shaping the future of advertising, by creating innovative marketing solutions that enable retailers to connect with customers, grow their businesses, and optimize their advertising efforts on Instacart. As a Senior Associate Market Strategy & Planning, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop ad products, execute go-to-market strategies, and ensure measurable success for our retailers aiming to amplify their storefronts and offerings on Instacart.
About the Team- You will be part of the Market Strategy and Planning (MS&P) team, a dynamic group focused on crafting strategic paths that uphold Instacart's commitment to excellence and innovation. This team is integral to our growth, collaborating across functions to unlock the full potential of our products and help our partners succeed. Together, we drive initiatives that not only make an impact today but also lay the groundwork for tomorrow's successes.
About the Job
- Develop strategic plans to best meet needs & grow business for Instacart’s retailers, via a portfolio of advertising and marketing initiatives
- Own program management including pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting to highest levels of leadership
- Work with cross-functional teams across product, retail, ads, and marketing teams to guide the implementation of the go-to-market strategy
- Perform data analysis to drive key business insights and scalable growth strategies for retailer advertising both internally and externally
- Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and market conditions to ensure Instacart retailer ads remain competitive and cutting-edge
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working on building advertising products in the e-commerce space. Experience working on digital marketplaces preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders
- Demonstrates adaptability while building new programs, initiatives and processes
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a tech or strategy role with emphasis on digital advertising/performance marketing
Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here.
