Senior Associate, Media Analytics - CPG Ads & Promotions
Job Description
Our CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Advertising & Promotions team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising. We provide digital marketing solutions to help CPG brands and advertisers reach DoorDash audiences. This role will be responsible for campaign analytics and optimizations across our performance media products.
We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented, highly-motivated individual to support our CPG Ads business. In this role, you’ll be part of our Insights organization, supporting our growing sales teams on core media products. In this role, you’ll collaborate between our Strategy + Operations and Sales teams to monitor and optimize performance media campaigns for our CPG advertisers:
- Learn and master DoorDash’s CPG marketing tools to deliver against advertiser targets across key metrics: ROAS, pacing, fill rate, sales growth
- Construct dashboards, slide templates, and educational content to empower the DoorDash’s CPG Ad Sales team to track and identify campaign performance recommendations to their CPG partners
- Design and implement new data driven narratives for different advertiser touchpoints enabling DoorDash to highlight the impact of media strategy on advertiser goals. Touchpoints include: weekly performance readouts, Quarterly Business Reviews, and investment conversations
- Engage with top CPG advertisers to plan campaign strategy, analyze performance, and proactively identify areas of optimization and opportunity
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Management team to assist in Go-To-Market for new products and capabilities
- Analyze & Influence: You enjoy hunting for insights and using data to share meaningful learnings and make actionable recommendations
- Problem Solve & Scale: You are ready to roll up your sleeves and help build new and improve current processes and tools to increase the reach and impact of your work
- Partner: You’ve worked closely with sales and account teams before and know what data they - and their partners - need to achieve their marketing goals
- You have 4+ years of experience in performance marketing at a digital agency, retail media network, or in a CPG environment
- You have been ‘hands on keyboard’ for performance media products and are familiar with different capabilities like targeting, bid strategies, etc.
- You are highly analytical, and are advanced at data analysis (Intermediate to Advanced SQL a plus)
- Have worked in a client facing role and are comfortable sharing data-backed insights and recommendations to external audiences
- You have a proven track record of hitting goals and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
- Bachelor’s degree
We expect this position to be filled by 9/9/2025.
Compensation
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
