Job Description

About Hightouch

Hightouch’s mission is to empower everyone to take action on their data. Hundreds of companies, including Autotrader, Calendly, Cars.com, Monday.com, and PetSmart, trust Hightouch to power their growth.

We pioneered the Composable Customer Data Platform (CDP), which lets companies use their own data warehouse to collect, prepare, and activate customer data for marketing personalization and business operations. Our new AI Decisioning platform goes a step further, allowing marketers to set goals and guardrails that AI agents can then use to personalize 1:1 customer interactions. Traditionally, only technical teams had the skills to access and use customer data. With Hightouch, every business user can deliver personalized customer experiences, optimize performance marketing, and move faster by leveraging data and AI across their organization.

Our team focuses on making a meaningful impact for our customers. We approach challenges with a first-principles mindset, move quickly and efficiently, and treat each other with compassion and kindness. We look for team members who are strong communicators, have a growth mindset, and are motivated and persistent in achieving our goals.

What else? We’re based in San Francisco but have team members all over the world. Our Series C put us at a $1.2B valuation, and we are backed by leading investors such as Sapphire Ventures, Amplify Partners, ICONIQ Growth, Bain Capital Ventures, Y-Combinator, and Afore Capital.

The Role

As a Senior Brand Designer at Hightouch, you’ll play a key role in shaping and elevating our brand through a variety of creative projects. From designing web pages and product illustrations to creating social content and sales materials, you’ll bring ideas to life in a fast-paced environment that resonate with our audience. You’ll work closely with our marketing, product design, and engineering teams to craft a distinctive and memorable brand that sets us apart in the market and drives the company’s success.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing startup, where your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of the marketing team and shape the company culture. Your work will help deliver a high-quality brand experience that leaves a lasting impression on our audience.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and evolve the Hightouch brand, ensuring its relevance and impact.
  • Translate technical concepts into visually compelling narratives and assets across multiple touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand story across all platforms.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of a variety of projects, ranging from sales presentations and white papers to complex marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure brand consistency across all projects.
  • Stay at the forefront of design trends, continuously bringing fresh, creative ideas to elevate our brand.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 7+ years as a brand or visual designer at a studio or in-house setting. Bonus points if you’ve worked on B2B data products.
  • Craft: A strong grasp of layout, color theory, and typography, with the ability to apply these principles across a variety of assets.
  • Team player: You exhibit kindness and humility. Seeking to understand your teammates and assuming good intentions.
  • Communication: You have good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate your creative decisions clearly.
  • Curious mindset: You’re eager to learn and understand technical concepts to ensure your design decisions are well-informed.
  • Growth mindset: You’re constantly seeking opportunities to improve your craft and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Tools: You’re proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

We are looking for talented, intellectually curious, and motivated individuals who are interested in tackling the problems above. We focus on impact and potential for growth more than years of experience. The salary range for this position is $150,000-180,000 (USD) per year which is location-independent in accordance with our remote-first policy.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
