At Angi®, we’ve had one simple mission for 30 years: get jobs done well. We make it happen by connecting homeowners with reliable pros who have the skills they need — and connecting pros with homeowners who have the jobs they want.

Angi at a glance:

  • A new homeowner turns to Angi every second
  • Our network has 150,000+ skilled pros in 50+ service categories
  • 150,000,000+ projects brought to Angi (and counting)

Why join Angi:

Angi® is defining the future of the home services industry, creating an environment where homeowners, service professionals and employees benefit from more jobs done well.

For homeowners, our platform makes it easier than ever to find a skilled pro for repairs, renovations, and everything in between. For pros, we're a business partner who helps them find the work they want and grow their business.

We believe home is the most important place on earth, and so we work hard for our homeowners and our pros — making a real impact on families, communities, and livelihoods.

Angi is an amazing place to call home. We can’t wait to welcome you.

About the team

The Angi Content Team is made up of Writers, Editors, Designers, and Researchers. We are building an innovative, new home service that spans the digital and physical worlds — from the details on a screen, to in-person, human-to-human interactions, and everything in between. Every member of the team is charged with redefining expectations around what’s possible in the home industry by creating simple, seamless solutions to complex, previously unsolved problems.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Senior Content Designer who will shape how content supports the user experience across our digital and real-world touchpoints. You’re not just a writer — you’re a systems thinker who understands how content impacts usability, navigation, conversion, and brand cohesion. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to define content frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and scalable systems that ensure clarity and consistency throughout the customer journey.

Our Content Designers have a deep understanding of product writing and know that successful customer experiences are dependent on empathetic, meaningful content. They are involved in every phase of a project lifecycle, from early strategy and concepting, through customer research, detailed design, launch, and optimization. Our Content Designers are also stewards of our brand voice and understand that even the smallest word choice is important for building the foundation of our brand.

Writing for Angi requires an intimate understanding of our diverse users — achieved through continuous research and testing — and close collaboration with many disciplines inside our organization. We value creative exploration, iteration, and attention to detail. Please include with your application a strong portfolio showcasing examples of UX copywriting across web and mobile applications, demonstrating your ability to simplify complex concepts and drive user engagement.

  • Write, design, test and iterate content in your part of the user journey
  • Collaborate with your teams' product designers, product managers, researchers, analysts, and engineers to deliver against our key outcome goals
  • Develop content frameworks and systems that scale across multiple user journeys, flows, and service lines
  • Define and maintain content standards, voice and tone guidelines, and governance models to ensure consistency across all user experiences
  • Audit and analyze content ecosystems to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities to streamline and optimize
  • Collaborate with research and data teams to define user journeys and content requirements that address real user needs and business goals
  • Continuously evolve and mature the craft and its influence within the organization and ensure it's considered at every step of the product development lifecycle
  • Lead content workshops or working sessions to align stakeholders around voice, structure, and strategy

Who you are

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally a combination of Content Strategy, UX Writing, or Copywriting for digital experiences — agency or product organizations preferred
  • Experience working on a UX design team and/or within a product organization using agile methodologies
  • Experience with Figma or similar collaborative design required
  • Experience with Jira or similar product management software required
  • Familiarity with Contentful or similar content management systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with Split or similar A/B testing software is a plus
  • Driven, able to adapt and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • A solid understanding of user-centric design, inclusivity, and accessibility best practices

We value diversity

We know that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems. We welcome and value individuals who bring diverse life experiences, educational backgrounds, cultures, and work experiences.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $90,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
  • This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
  • Full medical, dental, vision package to fit your needs
  • Flexible vacation policy; work hard and take time when you need it
  • Pet discount plans & retirement plan with company match (401K)
  • The rare opportunity to work with sharp, motivated teammates solving some of the most unique challenges and changing the world

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
