Job Description
As a Senior Data Analyst at the Uniswap Foundation, you’ll leverage on‑chain data to power growth, product and research initiatives—such as our liquidity‑mining program and LP‑profitability projects—across the Uniswap and Unichain ecosystems. You thrive in ambiguity, enjoy translating complex DeFi mechanics into actionable insights, and excel at collaborating with small, cross‑functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Shape growth strategy by analyzing user behavior, liquidity trends and trading flows on Uniswap and Unichain
- Partner cross‑functionally with Growth, Research, Developer Experience and Marketing to define priorities, identify opportunities and measure impact
- Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards and reports that surface key metrics and drive data‑informed decisions
- Conduct deep‑dive analyses on AMM mechanics, DeFi protocols and emerging market trends
- Translate data into strategy—craft clear narratives, visualizations and playbooks for both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Design and test hypotheses against large on‑chain datasets, iterating toward increasingly precise models and forecasts
- Monitor ecosystem health through ongoing market research, identifying new trends in DEXs and DeFi, and recommending actionable next steps
Who You Are
- Curious & proactive: you own projects end‑to‑end, from question framing through execution and storytelling
- Technically fluent: you’re comfortable exploring smart‑contract events, transaction traces and on‑chain state changes
- Quantitative thinker: you apply strong statistical skills (time‑series, regression, sampling) with sound methodological judgment
- Communicator & collaborator: you distill complex analyses into clear insights and forge partnerships across small teams
- Adaptable: you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and pivot priorities as the ecosystem evolves
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, quantitative research or statistics
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with SQL and/or Python (or R)
- Deep familiarity with on‑chain data structures, DeFi protocols and AMM mechanics
- Proven track record of designing and maintaining dashboards and ETL/data pipelines
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
- Public presence through data‑driven content (e.g. blog posts, Twitter or Farcaster threads)

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
