About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who will be integral in working with our computer vision team in order to provide insights and feedback from the wealth of data that Inspiren helps capture to improve our technology. While the focus of this role is not model development, the ideal candidate will be intimately familiar with the e2e ML lifecycle. We expect this person to bring a level of rigor and data-drivenness to this area.
What you’ll do
- Design, update, and maintain algorithms that power information and feedback from the Inspiren system to our computer vision technology.
- Identify and integrate new datasets that can be used to provide additional insights.
- Develop best practices around offline and online testing new computer vision models.
- Lead investigations of incidents where our computer vision models performed suboptimally, leveraging this information to make recommendations on where to improve.
- Create data visualizations as necessary.
- Analyze data for trends and patterns.
About you
- At least 5 years of experience with data science
- Proven experience with Computer Vision
- Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to take a practical approach to solving problems in real-world settings
- Ability to share your skills with other team members and contribute to learning as a group
- Able to manage timelines, quality, and delivery
- Effective collaborator who values cross-disciplinary delivery
- Experience in healthcare is NOT required
- Desire to work an early stage startup

- The annual salary range for this role is $150,000-$180,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision)
