Your Role:

The creative director is responsible for developing, executing and leading the visual expression of Tenable’s brand. This leader will manage a small team of designers and video producers to establish and maintain visual design standards and consistency. The creative director will work closely with cross-functional teams, especially corporate marketing, digital advertising, and product marketing, to support global initiatives and business objectives. This role requires a highly strategic thinker with a strong background in design leadership, brand identity, and communications design, ideally with experience in both agencies and in-house teams.

Your Opportunity:

  • Lead creative team and execute brand designs across digital, print, animation, video, marketing campaigns, out of home (OOH) and more
  • Develop breakthrough brand experiences that resonate with key audiences and create lasting brand value
  • Define and execute the overall design direction for the brand
  • Evolve and refine the visual language and design systems to create iconic brand identities
  • Ideate and generate new concepts quickly, based on stakeholder input, refine concepts as performance data becomes available
  • Build creative vision that reflects business priorities to deliver world-class designs
  • Experience developing and managing holistic enterprise brand systems, including the use of digital asset management systems (DAMs) to drive efficiency and consistency
  • Leverage data to measure performance, synthesize insights and drive strategic improvement across all programs
  • Manage creative marketing agency, contractors and other vendors as required to foster a culture of excellence

What You’ll Need:

  • 15+ years in design leadership, brand identity, and communications design or related experience; 7+ years’ experience as a direct people manager; experience managing other people managers preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience overseeing creative teams and agencies
  • Experience in recruiting talent and mentoring creatives
  • Deep expertise in building, launching and managing holistic brand identity and design strategies
  • Extensive experience across multiple content formats, from digital ads to web pages, videos to event booths
  • Experience working across marketing functions and product teams
  • Ability to curate, interpret and leverage data to drive strategic improvements and secure buy-in from key decision-makers
  • Ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed environment with many different stakeholders, including all levels of management
  • Capacity to balance multiple projects with aggressive deadlines at the same time
  • Tech experience is a must; cybersecurity expertise preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent
