Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
We’re looking for a strategic, high-impact Senior Director, Product Marketing, to lead and scale our product marketing function. In this role, you will own the go-to-market strategy for our anti-ransomware platform and solutions, crafting compelling narratives that differentiate us in a rapidly evolving market. You will drive positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, analyst relations, and sales enablement to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth. This is a critical leadership role that bridges product, sales, customer success, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
- Own and evolve the product marketing strategy across our anti-ransomware platform and services aligning with business and revenue objectives.
- Lead and grow a team of product marketers; set clear priorities, frameworks, and KPIs.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to product management, sales leadership, and executive stakeholders.
Messaging & Positioning
- Define clear, differentiated messaging and positioning that resonates with security buyers (CISOs, Security Analysts/Ops, IT leadership).
- Translate complex technical capabilities into value-based stories aligned with threat landscapes and buyer pain points.
Go-to-Market & Launches
- Lead cross-functional GTM planning and execution for product launches, major updates, and new solution areas.
- Develop content that drives awareness, demand, and pipeline—tailored to different buyer personas and market segments.
Sales and Partner Enablement
- Build and deliver sales and partner enablement tools including battlecards, competitive playbooks, talk tracks, objection handling guides, and win-loss insights.
- Partner with sales enablement and revenue teams to improve deal velocity and win rates through training and toolkits.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct ongoing competitive and market research, delivering actionable intelligence to product and go-to-market teams for use in thought leadership, PR, marketing programs, and sales material.
- Track industry trends, customer challenges, and emerging threats to shape product roadmap and marketing strategy.
Customer & Analyst Engagement
- Serve as a spokesperson and trusted expert for internal and external audiences, including analysts, media, and high-value customers.
- Source and amplify customer success stories, case studies, and testimonials that validate market impact and build trust.
Skills:
- Credible with technical audiences—able to speak fluently with CISOs, security analysts/operations, and analysts.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to execute in a fast-moving environment.
- Outcome-oriented, collaborative, and highly driven by customer insight and market feedback.
- Experience with analyst relations (Gartner, Forrester) and shaping Magic Quadrant or Wave strategy.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, with at least 5+ years in cybersecurity.
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity buyer journey, security operations, and threat landscape.
- Proven success launching and positioning complex technical products in a competitive market.
- Strong team leadership experience with the ability to scale and mentor a high-performance team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling and translating technical details into business value.
- Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Crayon/Klue, and sales enablement platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or technical background a plus.

Base Salary Range: $215,000 - $280,000
In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
