About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned, relationship-driven Senior Director of Provider Engagement to lead our expansion and provider-facing initiatives nationally. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for shaping our provider footprint, cultivating deep partnerships with hospitals and health systems, and overseeing a team of senior employees responsible for bringing Sidecar Health’s model to life on the ground.
You’ll play a central role in crafting our regional growth strategy, ensuring providers are aligned with our mission, and that our members have access to high-quality, cost-effective care. This role requires a senior leader with extensive experience in health system alignment, strategic provider partnerships, and operational execution.
- Lead provider engagement strategy nationally, with an emphasis on building strong, sustainable relationships with hospitals and health systems
- Guide and support a team of senior leaders who manage provider-facing initiatives and execution within their respective regions
- Develop scalable approaches for provider onboarding, enablement, and collaboration that reflect Sidecar Health’s consumer-first philosophy
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Operations to shape the provider experience and ensure operational excellence
- Serve as a strategic ambassador for Sidecar Health in the provider community, clearly articulating our differentiated model and building trust with senior health system leaders
- Monitor regional market conditions and trends to inform strategy and support thoughtful, data-backed decision making
- Support innovation in provider-facing solutions, tools, and partnerships that improve outcomes and reduce friction for both members and providers
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in provider relations, strategic partnerships, or health system leadership—ideally in a payer, health tech, or provider services context
- Demonstrated success working with senior executives at hospitals and health systems
- Experience leading multi-state or regional initiatives focused on provider collaboration, care delivery strategy, or growth
- Strong people leader with experience managing senior-level professionals; proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the presence to influence internally and externally at the executive level
- Track record of success in dynamic, fast-paced environments; startup or growth-stage company experience is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) preferred
- Must be based in Florida, Ohio, or Georgia, and available for travel as needed

Sidecar Health adopts a market-based approach to compensation, where base pay varies depending on location and is further influenced by job-related skills and experience. The current expected salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000.
