By joining Datavant today, you’re stepping onto a high-performing, values-driven team. Together, we’re rising to the challenge of tackling some of healthcare’s most complex problems with technology-forward solutions. Datavanters bring a diversity of professional, educational and life experiences to realize our bold vision for healthcare.
Datavant is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Sr. Director of Provider Growth Marketing to lead all aspects of commercial marketing and demand generation across our Provider business. Reporting to the CCO, you will define and drive our growth marketing strategy, shape our go-to-market narrative in close partnership with Product Marketing, and lead a team responsible for generating demand, enabling sales, and driving adoption. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare buyers, exceptional cross-functional leadership, and a passion for solving customer pain points with clarity and creativity.
You Will:
- Define and Lead Provider Growth Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute marketing plans that drive awareness, lead generation, and pipeline growth for our Provider business, focusing on the full commercial funnel from engagement to conversion. In addition to new business acquisition, shape marketing efforts that support customer retention, expansion, and thought leadership, ensuring our messaging and programs reinforce long-term value for existing clients.
- Own Demand Generation Campaigns: Build and run targeted, multi-channel programs that generate qualified pipeline across buyer personas, segments, and customer journeys.
- Partner on Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to align messaging and launches, while ensuring campaigns and field initiatives drive traction with commercial teams and prospects.
- Enable Sales & Customer Success Teams: Deliver effective sales enablement materials including battlecards, talk tracks, competitive insights, and presentations to support new business, upsell, and retention efforts.
- Craft Commercial Messaging & Content: Develop high-impact content and narratives tailored to buyer needs, market dynamics, and sales plays supporting both digital campaigns and field efforts.
- Lead and Grow a High-Performing Marketing Team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team across campaign strategy, field enablement, and content development.
- Track, Report, and Optimize Performance: Own KPIs across the marketing and sales funnel. Report on performance and continuously improve based on data-driven insights.
- Oversee Martech and Analytics Tools: Ensure the right infrastructure is in place to execute, track, and refine marketing initiatives, including CRM, automation, and reporting platforms.
What You Will Bring to the Table:
- 12+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with 3–5 years in a demand generation or growth-focused leadership role, ideally within healthcare, health IT, or enterprise SaaS.
- A deep understanding of healthcare buyer behavior, sales cycles, and the provider ecosystem.
- Demonstrated success building marketing programs that directly drive pipeline and revenue growth.
- Experience leading cross-functional go-to-market efforts in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Clear understanding of the boundaries and synergies between product marketing and commercial marketing.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and mentor senior marketing talent.
- Strong strategic thinking, paired with a hands-on, execution-first mindset.
- Fluency with marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics) and a track record of making data-informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
