What you’ll do as a Senior Engineering Manager at Vanta:
Drive significant impact for our customers and business by leading teams to deliver results consistently and sustainably
Build a best-in-class engineering team. Coach, mentor and create an environment where your team can do their best work and deliver for the business.
Set direction and guide technical strategy, ensuring that your team is delivering long-term value aligned with Vanta’s business priorities
Work closely with Vanta’s customers and customer-facing teammates to build and ship high-value products and infrastructure
Play an integral role in laying the foundation for Vanta’s engineering culture
How to be successful in this role:
Have 3 or more years of professional experience in a full-time engineering manager role for product engineering teams
Experience leading team sizes of 15-20+ with managers or leads reporting into you
Strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and quality
Have participated in developing or driving engineering-wide initiatives (recruiting processes, career frameworks, etc) in a prior role
Have prior experience managing complex, long-term projects that touch multiple teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Effective communicator and story-teller. Able to influence cross functional stakeholders and adjacent teams
