As a Senior Gameplay Networking Engineer, you will build and tune the foundational simulation and networking systems that enable the game to feel amazing to players around the world. Most importantly, you will work with a fun and dedicated cross-discipline team devoted to making a new franchise.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- With minimal oversight, build and maintain production-quality simulation and networking systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal 5
- Provide technical guidance to teammates on networked gameplay experience to enable smooth and responsive feel
- Collaborate daily with a cross-disciplinary team to build new gameplay experiences
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in C++
- Ability to communicate with customers of different technical and non-technical backgrounds to help them navigate technology and achieve their goals
- Experience building real-time action multiplayer gameplay systems, with an emphasis on low-level networking (latency mitigation, bit packing/serialization, bandwidth optimization)
- Robust understanding of traditional game networking and simulation models
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
- Experience with development using the Unreal Engine
- Experience with development on a variety of platforms (PC, console)
