Job Description
For millions of teams working in dozens of industries, day-to-day business gets done on the phone. So why — despite the huge leaps we've taken in design and usability — does most business phone software still look, feel, and act like it was born in the 90s? OpenPhone is changing that.
We’re a new type of business phone with a mission to help people communicate better and be more productive.
We’re backed by Y Combinator and some of the best venture firms around including Tiger Global, Craft Ventures, Slow Ventures, and others. We take pride in providing an exceptional customer experience and a product people love, which is why we’re excited that our customers have rated us the #1 VoIP Provider on G2.
OpenPhone is the modern, sophisticated answer to the clunky, outdated phone systems that have been slowing down businesses for years. With thousands of happy customers and several rounds of funding in just five years, it's safe to say we're onto something big.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Manager to bring our story to life through creator-led and partner-driven storytelling. As a key member of the marketing team, you’ll lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of both affiliate and influencer programs across various publishers and social media platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and X.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing, you’ll collaborate closely with brand, paid media, and content teams to build scalable campaigns that drive both awareness and credibility across social platforms. If you’re passionate about social media, skilled at building strong relationships, highly organized, and excited to grow a creative, high-impact program we’d love to chat.
Some of the things you’ll do:
- Own and scale OpenPhone’s influencer and affiliate marketing programs across platforms, focusing on performance-driven partnerships that hit monthly targets for views, trials, and spend, all while maintaining strict efficiency benchmarks.
- Identify, vet, and build relationships with influencers and affiliate partners who align with OpenPhone’s brand and audience.
- Develop and manage campaigns end-to-end — from prospecting and outreach, briefs and negotiations to content review and reporting.
- Collaborate with brand and creative teams to ensure messaging is aligned and high-impact.
- Partner with paid media, content, and lifecycle teams to repurpose creator content across the funnel.
- Analyze performance to inform future investments and optimize creative, messaging, and partnerships.
- Stay ahead of platform trends and creator strategies to keep OpenPhone's campaigns fresh and effective.
- Experiment with new formats, categories, platforms, and partners to grow the programs in creative and measurable ways.
About you:
- You have 5+ years of experience in influencer and/or affiliate marketing with a proven track record of building and scaling creator partnerships that drive measurable business results.
- You’ve managed influencer and affiliate campaigns at scale — across platforms, verticals, and budgets — and know how to adapt strategies for different audiences and goals.
- You're both strategic and scrappy: able to define the big picture while rolling up your sleeves to execute with excellence.
- You're a true resident of the internet. You are deeply familiar with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms, and have a sharp eye for cultural trends and creator potential.
- You're a strong communicator and natural relationship-builder who thrives on connecting with creators, internal and external partners alike.
- You’re comfortable with quotas and targets. You’re metrics-driven and energized by hitting (and exceeding) clear goals and performance targets.
- You're highly organized, capable of managing multiple complex campaigns at once without dropping the ball.
- You’re innovative, not afraid to take risks, and understand how to operate at speed and scale.
- Bonus: You’ve worked in B2B SaaS or with fast-growing startups

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
