The role:
The Senior Learning Designer creates strategic, high-impact learning experiences that drive performance and support Angi’s evolving business needs. This role brings advanced instructional design expertise, project leadership, and mentorship capabilities to elevate the quality and efficiency of Angi’s learning programs. The ideal candidate creates innovative, scalable learning strategies tailored to diverse learner personas, and proactively develops cutting-edge modalities to improve business results. With a learner-first mindset and deep collaboration skills, this role acts as a strategic thought partner and leader in driving learning excellence across the organization.
What you’ll do
Learning Design & Optimization
- Lead the design and development of innovative, scalable learning solutions customized for a wide range of roles and needs across Angi.
- Develop cutting-edge learning modalities - including e-learning, instructor-led training, in product learning, and just-in-time solutions - grounded in adult learning principles and optimized for performance.
- Create comprehensive evaluation strategies to assess learning effectiveness and its impact on business outcomes.
- Translate complex business information into digestible, high-impact learning content in close partnership with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
- Create continuous improvements loops through learner feedback, business metrics, and performance data to proactively refine learning content and approaches.
Collaboration & Team Enablement
- Collaborate cross-functionally as a strategic thought partner to ensure alignment between learning initiatives and critical business priorities across various teams.
- Act as a mentor and subject matter expert on learning design standards, advanced authoring tools, and design best practices.
- Guide and support designer team in building foundational skills and growing their instructional design capabilities.
- Develop and champion scalable tools, frameworks, and templates that drive consistency, efficiency, and a world class learning experience across Angi.
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing scalable, innovative learning solutions that drive measurable business impact.
- Deep expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design best practices, and a range of learning modalities.
- Proficiency with learning technologies and authoring tools
- Experience mentoring and upskilling other designers, with strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational and project management skills

Compensation & Benefits
- The salary band for this position ranges from $90,000 - $120,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
- This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
