Job Description

Our current client is seeking a senior lawyer to assist in the creation and publication of their premium database of legal resources, with particular focus on commercial property. Keep reading to learn how you can redefine your legal journey!

Responsibilities

  • Create, review and edit legal resources pertaining to commercial property, including standard documents, drafting notes, checklists and practice notes.
  • Support processes to ensure content is continuously updated to reflect legal accuracy and new legal developments, reflecting market practice.
  • Assist in the development and publication of content received from private practice authors.
  • Provide expert legal advice in response to enquiries from external customers relating to property law and practice.

Requirements

  • At least 7+ years of experience in commercial property law, preferably in top-tier private practice.
  • Proven experience advising various real estate matters inclusive of property transactional matters, commercial leasing, development projects, structuring/restructuring and due diligence.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian property laws and regulations.
  • Additional knowledge of retail leasing would be highly regarded.
  • Prior legal publications within the property law space would be highly regarded.
  • You must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
