About The Role & Team
We are adding a Senior Manager to lead financial operations within our Services Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Structured Finance & Transactions, this individual will focus on the management of project specific capital expense budgeting, project controls, financial operations strategy, automation of invoices, and overall profitability of our client’s energy storage assets ranging from capital budgets of $5M to over $200M focused on the development and construction phases. The ideal candidate will have a blend of managerial, analytic, and technical expertise to drive value of renewable energy and storage projects under development and construction.
What You’ll Do:
Capex Budgeting, Project Controls and Financial Operations Management
- Own and expand Euclid’s suite of financial operations tools including but not limited to: capital budget and forecasting tools, change from baseline review and approval management including change orders, invoice logs, loan draws, and scaling and automation of processes.
- Maintain customer budget and associated forecast through a detailed understanding of stakeholder cost and risks.
- Support and oversee weekly and monthly variance reporting to tell a clear financial story of project development and construction progress; lead budget change walks to internal and external teams.
- Track and demonstrate a strong understanding of financial model inputs and outputs and identify potential layers of improvement to overall profitability. Manage information for investor, lender and financial reporting.
- Drive reporting and forecasting process improvements and optimization initiatives to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of cash flow modeling and forecasting processes. Expertise in delivering forecasting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate and coordinate with a broad base of stakeholders across financial operations to gather relevant data, validate assumptions, and incorporate project insights into budgets, forecasts, financial model tracking, and analysis. Stakeholders include asset owner, EPC, equipment supplier, other construction related vendors, investors, lenders and advisors.
- Mentor and develop staff, providing guidance on financial operations best practices, techniques, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with client leadership team to evaluate capital and operating expenses for new project opportunities or expansions as needed.
Project Costing, Data Analysis and Reporting
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key findings, trends, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead the design and implementation of analytical tools, dashboards, and technologies for real-time data and executive decision-making support. Actively seek opportunities to introduce new tools and improve analysis. Develop KPI’s for tracking and measuring.
- Develop and own management and forecasting of cash and accounts during the project development and construction phases. Prepare performance and financial reports for internal stakeholders, investors, lenders, and regulators.
- Serve as a leading SME on financial operations and project development and construction FP&A.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in renewable energy capital budgeting and project controls for a developer, EPC and/or investor/owner.
- Understanding of renewable energy or construction finance and/or accounting.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Excel, Power BI) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Engineering, or a related field or STEM is a plus

The starting base salary for this role is between $180,000 and $200,000 with an equity award as part of your all-in compensation. The actual base salary and equity is dependent upon many factors, such as education, experience, skills, and internal compensation equity. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
