Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Premier Navigators, will lead a high-performing team of Premier Navigators who are the primary point of contact for Nomad’s clinicians applying to jobs on Nomad’s transformational jobs marketplace. The Senior Manager will support and manage the Premier Navigators as they proactively identify and recommend job matches to Nomad’s pool of candidates while sourcing new talent through various methods as needed.
This position is responsible for: attracting and successfully onboarding strong talent, creating a culture of ownership to prioritize and drive truly excellent results and department performance; monitoring, coaching, and supporting team development and day-to-day functions; and cross-functional collaboration with other team leads as needed.
Responsibilities/What You Will Do
- Lead a team of up to 12 Premier Navigators to ensure high team performance, professional growth, and success in recruitment goals
- Hire, onboard, and train any new team members and performance manage accordingly
- Monitor and maintain (and ideally exceed) organizational and departmental KPIs, such as total placement counts, speed to fill, and clinician satisfaction
- Hold weekly 1:1s with each Premier Navigator to discuss performance, individual development plans, and remove any obstacles preventing a team member’s success.
- Ensure processes and procedures are updated within department documentation and respective team members are trained on current and new initiatives.
- Create and share departmental reports to help illustrate a process or function to improve the team and/or department performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process opportunities, working cross-functionally with teams, bringing projects to completion, defining owners, data points, timelines and deliverables
- Act as an escalation point as needed, addressing complex issues and ensuring timely resolutions
- Complete other duties as assigned to further the Nomad mission and improve team and departmental performance.
Qualifications/ Skills - What You Will Need
- 7+ years’ people management experience, leading a team of sales professionals, preferably within healthcare staffing, specifically in travel nursing and allied.
- Able to deal with ambiguity and take the initiative to find solutions and drive team results
- Data-driven and able to derive actionable insights from key metrics and translate those into tangible team goals and improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to adapt communication style for diverse audiences, including clinicians, team members and cross-functional partners
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- High accountability for both themselves and their team members; comfortable having tough conversations when a team member is underperforming and committed to fostering an environment of accountability and growth
- Experience with software tools such as Zendesk, Jira, and DialPad (or similar) is required. Experience with ATS or other staff-specific tools is a plus. Experience with data processing tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with continuous change and to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and demands

Base compensation for this full-time position is between $88,000 to $110,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum amount employees can earn during their time in the role. Actual base pay may be higher or lower depending on geographic locations, skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law. This role is also eligible to receive incentives by hitting certain individual, team, and/or company milestones. Annual incentive target is $36,000.
