Your Mission:
As we continue to scale rapidly, we’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Senior Manager of Procurement to join our team and take charge of sourcing, procurement strategy, and vendor management across the organization.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to help build and streamline procurement processes in a high-growth environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support our company’s strategic goals.Here’s what you’ll take charge of:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies across multiple categories (professional services, software, leases, hardware, etc.), ensuring cost savings and efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and track supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs.
- Oversee procurement budgets, drive cost-saving initiatives, and report on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead process improvements and the implementation of best-in-class procurement systems, tools, and technologies to streamline operations, reduce procurement cycle times, and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Work with Finance, Legal, IT/Security, Product and Development teams to align procurement efforts with company goals.
- Implement best practices, optimize procurement processes, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and long-term supplier collaborations that support company growth and technological innovation.
What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, ideally within a fast-growing technology company.
- Proven track record of managing procurement strategies across multiple spend categories and negotiating high-value contracts.
- Experience in managing a high-volume procurement function, sourcing complex products and services in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier performance management, and contract law.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Cash compensation: We tie our base pay ranges to role and level and for this role the range is $150,000 to $175,000. Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and/or equity.
