About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Manager, SMB Sales Recruiting to lead our hiring strategy and execution for the SMB Sales organization. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Talent Leadership to ensure we’re attracting, engaging, and hiring top-performing sales talent at scale. You’ll lead a team of recruiters focused on delivering an exceptional candidate experience while meeting ambitious headcount goals.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and is passionate about building high-impact sales teams.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage the SMB Sales recruiting team, providing mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Develop and execute a scalable recruiting strategy to support ongoing hiring goals across the SMB Sales org.
- Partner with Sales and GTM leadership to deeply understand business needs, headcount plans, and team structures.
- Monitor key hiring metrics, report on pipeline health, and proactively identify areas of improvement.
- Champion a high-quality candidate experience at every step of the funnel, from sourcing to close.
- Drive inclusive hiring practices, ensuring we attract and hire talent from diverse backgrounds.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of recruiting experience, with 4+ years leading high-volume sales recruiting teams
- Proven success hiring inside sales, SDRs/BDRs, and/or SMB Account Executives at scale
- Strong partnership experience with Sales or Revenue leaders, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment
- Experience building and optimizing recruiting processes, reporting, and ATS workflows
- Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Data-driven mindset with comfort managing to metrics and KPIs
- Passion for coaching recruiters and developing high-performing teams
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range. For this role, the compensation ranges are:
