Title: Senior Partner Specialist
PlayStation Studios’ new Partner Sourcing Group is on a mission to deliver class-leading service, tools, process, and support to our development teams and provide internal coordination and cost efficiencies to the overall business. The PSG will serve as a central force that aligns various business functions towards a unified objective: ensuring the swift and seamless onboarding of our partners.
PSG has a clear vision and now needs a Senior Partner Specialist to support turn our plans into action! You will partner with the Manager of Partner Sourcing – Operations to design and deliver best-in-class solutions for PlayStation Studios clients and train a new team. You will be working with the external partnerships that compliment and expand upon internal PlayStation Studios capabilities. You will regularly anticipate, form a plan of action, and achieve buy-in with teammates, our management and other teams within SIE.
A Senior Partner Specialist plays a pivotal role in helping to build new Operation’s team, optimizing and facilitating onboarding for External Partners and enriching outsourcing experience for our PlayStation Studios and their primary focus is to provide air traffic control, process improvement and holistic approach to outsourcing.
Responsibilities
New Partner Activities and Partner Onboarding
- Identify suitable partners for SIE in different regions in line with business needs and make suitable recommendations
- Conduct market research, contact potential partners, send out and evaluate
- Request For Information and Request For Proposal, present findings to stakeholders
- Organize and manage pilots with suitable partners to support vendor-related strategies and/or new SIE services to be offered in service menu
- Assist when needed in virtual or in person vendor site visits, security auditing and report distribution
- Complete loan and non-disclosure agreements in relation to services provided to PlayStation Studios
- Coordinate Information Gathering via Partner ID cards for Vendor Database
- Facilitate and expedite Partner Onboarding with InfoSec, Finance, Legal, Compliance and IT
- Liaise with relevant BUs to improve processes related to onboarding
Contract Management and Performance Evaluation
- Assist PSG with contact creation
- Invoice audit and process payment across multiple systems when needed
- Track total spend, corporate and studio discount per partner according to negotiated contracts
- Identify and maintain vendor performance metrics
- Provide performance evaluation feedback to vendors post project
Business Relationship Management
- Develop collaborative relationships to ensure cross-functional collaboration across all peers, departments, PlayStation Studios and functions.
- Assist with scheduling attendance of industry events to meet with new and existing partner
- Maintain records of proposed, declined, allocated and cancelled vendor workload and studio feedback
- Maintain regular communication with external partners to notify of changes and capture issues
- Assist with the resolution of any vendor and studio related queries or issues
- Coordinate and manage the provision of PlayStation Studios tool and process training to vendors
- Document, maintain and distribute to stakeholders PSG updates and guidelines
- Assist PSG Manager – Operation with recruitment and training of new hires
Relevant Skills, knowledge, and experience
- Excellent analytical & prioritization skills
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong communication skills/customer service mindset
- Ability to work within a team, both in person and virtually
- Positive attitude and ability to cope with changing environment
- Comfortable in working within deadlines and timelines
- Willingness to adapt and adopt new processes and functions
- BCS Specialist Certificate in Supplier Management or related proficiency desired
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years related to vendor management in gaming or creative industries

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
