About the Role

We’re seeking a highly strategic and collaborative Partnership Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will own key relationships with partners and develop, execute, and optimize marketing strategies that drive mutual value for both Instacart and its partners. You’ll manage high-impact programs and campaigns that strengthen partner relationships, drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth while scaling innovative co-marketing opportunities.

This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional marketing strategy skills, strong cross-functional collaboration abilities, and an understanding of data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale partnerships, balancing strategic foresight with hands-on execution.

The product marketing team (part of the consumer marketing team) knows the user, knows the product magic and connects the two by developing breakthrough campaigns. About the Job

  • Develop and execute comprehensive co-marketing strategies with key payment and lifestyle partners, including brands, retailers, and other collaborators. This includes go-to-market campaigns for net new partners and running campaigns for existing partners
  • Identify and unlock new partnership opportunities that align with Instacart's growth goals and overarching marketing strategy
  • Lead the planning (inclusive of budget management), execution, and reporting of marketing initiatives in collaboration with partners and our internal Strategic Partnerships team, ensuring campaigns are aligned with business priorities, impactful, and results-driven.
  • Working with marketing channel partners, creative and brand team to ensure campaign alignment, develop business strategy and creative briefs, working with the creative team on execution, working closely with product to ensure the e2e experience is seamless and identify where new product work is needed, work hand in hand with marketing analytics and product analytics on getting to know how the business works and the value being driven specifically from the campaigns you are running and which tactics are working best
  • Act as a primary point of contact for marketing related needs for key external partners
  • Own campaign success metrics and performance tracking, delivering data-driven insights to inform continual optimization.
  • Develop detailed reports on campaign performance to share results with stakeholders and partners, ensuring ROI is clearly communicated.
  • Brainstorm and pilot innovative partnership marketing ideas to elevate customer experiences and drive growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and creative approaches to co-marketing collaborations, delivering fresh perspectives to partnerships.
  • Developing the materials and participating in quarterly business reviews with the partners- speaking both to specific growth opportunities for the partnership but also Intacart’s marketing strategic priorities

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in partner marketing management/co-marketing or related roles, preferably in the consumer technology, marketplace, or eCommerce industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Comfort with the unknown and a drive/motivation for getting it done
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at highly strategic and tactical levels, switching between them effortlessly.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field)MBA or master's degree is a plus.
  • E2E thinker with a deep understanding of marketing channels, campaign management/execution inclusive of the creative development process and working with product teams to get your vision prioritized
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to make strategic marketing decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to move the ball forward on key workstream and getting internal stakeholder buy in as well as external buy in
  • Listens but forms strong opinions.
  • Team player with strong collaboration and leadership abilities.
  • You will have a track record of managing large scale launches which include working and leading large cross-functional teams and excel in stakeholder and program management
