This is a full time remote role for people in the United Kingdom only
Reports to: Manager, People Business Partnering
This is an exciting opportunity to join our already strong People Business Partnering function at Grafana Labs. You will report to our Manager of People Business Partnering and form a critical part of our GTM Business Partnering team. You will support the design, implementation and drive of our People strategy, all while helping us maintain our culture as we scale.
Our ideal candidate will be able to comfortably span both strategic planning and cross-functional partnerships with our people managers on their day to day needs and business goals. You will find yourself diving into highly tactical discussions at times and you won’t be afraid to roll your sleeves up when it relates to our People team initiatives. If you love variety, a broad scope, and have a passion to work with both experienced and new people managers to drive real change in the business, this role may be for you.
The responsibilities listed below are a sampling of the projects you would help to support and lead. You will have a real opportunity to create and design strategic processes to differentiate the People function as we continue to be a great place to work.
What you will be responsible for:
- You will partner directly with our GTM management and leadership teams building trusted advisor status with key stakeholders
- You will identify needs, gaps, and opportunities within current processes and policies as well as partner to ensure sustainable and scalable processes are created
- You will support the People Team by acting as the expert for your function surrounding all projects and initiatives
- You will support new and experienced people managers across the GTM function to ensure we build a strong and consistent approach to people management
- You will partner with our People Team to deliver our annual processes surrounding talent and performance, workforce management, attrition and retention, compensation analysis and learning & development initiatives
- You will have the professional knowledge to actively contribute to the enhancement and delivery of these processes, as well as provide your perspective on how to improve Grafana initiatives on an ongoing basis
What are we looking for?
- You have experience in a high-growth scaling environment; you will also have experience partnering with GTM management teams
- You enjoy wearing many hats and are able to be both a strategic partner as well as tactical support when needed
- You are process oriented and enjoy creating structure where there may be ambiguity and are skilled at finding creative solutions to non-obvious problems
- You will handle a wide range of complex and highly sensitive employee issues and will maintain confidentiality at all levels of the organization
- You are a people-person and problem solver at heart - you are able to take your passion for helping others and identifying problems to ultimately define solutions and drive impact all via a high say/do ratio
- You appreciate working in a team to manage competing priorities and use your initiative and creative problem solving to confidently manage decision-making
- Ideally you have experience of working remotely and internationally coordinating with team members globally and understand the challenges and opportunities of remote work and communication
- You will be have a customer service approach to your role ensuring that everyone, locally and internationally, views you as a “go to” person for your business and function
In the United Kingdom, the base compensation range for this role is £78,000 - £95,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
