Job Description
RevenueCat removes the headaches of building and scaling in‑app subscriptions. Since graduating from YC’s S18 batch we’ve grown into the default monetization platform for mobile: we’re in >40% of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $8B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo dev in Brazil to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.
We’re a remote‑first crew of 100+, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance. If you want your work to touch hundreds of millions of end‑users (and help the developers behind them get paid), you’ll fit right in.
The Role
As Senior Product Design Manager, you will be leading our growing team of product designers (currently 4). You will help the team establish processes and practices, coach and provide feedback to them, and ensure alignment in the overall design direction.
About you:
You are a design manager with 3+ years of management experience and 8+ years of experience designing web and/or mobile applications.
You have hands on experience developing and evolving design team practices and processes—you know what great looks like and how to get there.
You have a proven track record of hiring, developing, and managing the performance of (senior) product designers.
You are a natural leader who enjoys building a team, and you also wade in and get your hands dirty with IC design work when needed.
You effectively advocate for the role of design by grounding it in deeply understanding customer needs and how to meet those needs.
You have experience working with more technical products and/or the technical aspects of product development.
You value working quickly, iteratively and collaboratively over getting everything perfect right away.
You are a great written communicator that can maintain collaboration while working asynchronously and remotely.
You have an ownership mentality—when you see something that's broken, you fix it.
You are excited about our mission to help developers make more money.
In the first month, you'll:
Get to know our product, customers, and the design team
Understand the status quo of the design team, processes, and practices, and identify improvement areas
Familiarize yourself with our design system and visual language
Within the first 3 months, you'll:
Take full ownership of and earn the trust of the design team
Implement your first improvements to how the design team operates
Establish a strong relationship with your manager, the Head of Product
Dive into some hands-on design work
Within the first 6 months, you'll:
Grow our design team
Elevate the voice of design as a strategic partner to flesh out where RevenueCat is going as a product
Address most of the teething problems of the design team that has grown from 1 to 4 people over the course of ~6 months
Within the first 12 months, you'll:
Meaningfully contribute to our product strategy and roadmap
Establish a vision and strategy for the growth and evolution of design as a function and as a team
Be respected by peers across the Engineering, Product, and and Go To Market teams
What we offer:
Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator
10-year window to exercise vested equity options
Fully remote and flexible work environment
4-5 weeks of suggested time off annually for mental, physical, and emotional recharge
$2,000 USD for workspace setup and $1,000 USD annual stipend for continuous learning

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
