JOB TITLE: Senior Product Designer
LOCATION: Remote UK
THE ROLE: We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape innovative, intuitive, and inspiring tools for music creators worldwide. In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end design for key product areas—from discovery and concepting to polished, production-ready experiences, balancing user needs with business goals. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to solve complex problems, elevate design craft, and bring a consistent brand voice to our products. Ideal candidates combine strong interaction and visual design skills with a deep empathy for creators, a passion for music, and the ability to translate complex workflows into simple, delightful experiences. Since early 2025, Spitfire has been part of the Splice family, and this role will work on Spitfire products, but report into Splice HQ.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Envision the next generation of user interfaces and experiences for Spitfire Audio products
- Sketch, wireframe, prototype, design, and deliver high-fidelity visuals and interactions
- Facilitate design projects from problem definition to production and beyond
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and others to drive projects forward and contribute to the overall direction of your area
- Leverage UXR and analytics to validate and evaluate design solution effectiveness
- Participate and provide feedback in design reviews
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- You have 5+ years of experience working as a Product Designer
- Proficiency with DAW-based music production
- You have a demonstrated ability to turn abstract ideas into high-quality designs
- You have a portfolio showcasing a history of high-quality work
- You can clearly articulate your design decisions and the problems you’re solving
- You’re self-actualizing. You take ownership of your work and responsibility for every last detail
- You’re humble; ready to provide, receive, and incorporate actionable feedback
NICE TO HAVES:
- You can prototype and/or build your work with code
- You have experience with UI micro-interactions and motion
- You have experience working at high-growth organizations
The national pay range for this role is £65,000 - £70,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
