Senior Product Manager, Internal Tools
Alma is seeking a mission-driven Senior Product Manager to lead our Internal Tools team. In this role, you will drive the strategy and execution of scalable, tech-enabled solutions that empower our operations teams, improve efficiency, and ensure service excellence as Alma continues to grow. You’ll lead a cross-functional team to identify high-impact opportunities, shape a clear roadmap, and deliver product innovations that streamline internal workflows and enhance the provider experience.

- Define, track, and analyze product performance using financial, operational, and customer experience metrics.
- Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes in both team ceremonies and company-wide forums.
- Make data-informed decisions by balancing qualitative insights with quantitative metrics, reducing scope when appropriate, and navigating trade-offs between features, technical debt, and performance.
- Apply an experimentation mindset—identify unmet needs, test hypotheses quickly, and use results to refine product direction with clear success metrics.
- Ensure alignment and collaboration across design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
Who you are:
- You have 4-6 years of product management experience, with a strong desire to own and drive product strategy, roadmap development, and execution.
- You bring direct experience within healthcare, insurance, education, or a similar highly regulated industry; ideally having a solid understanding of claims workflows, payer systems, and the regulatory environment impacting provider operations.
- You are a clear, compelling communicator who builds strong, collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
- You are comfortable operating in agile environments, using an iterative approach to solve complex problems.
- You balance data-driven decision making with strong product intuition, and have a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
- You value and contribute to a culture of inclusion, empathy, and collaboration.
- You feel deeply connected to Alma’s mission—to simplify access to care and improve the therapy experience for providers and their clients.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips
Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
