Job Summary:

As the Senior Product Manager for the Petcare vertical, you will lead product transformation efforts by identifying customer pain points, gathering feedback, and evolving current product experiences to better meet market demands. Though the role will be more transformational than net-new product launch, you will still help drive forward innovation through iterative development and cross-functional collaboration. Your focus will be on refining and scaling existing products, increasing adoption, engagement, and retention, while supporting go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize customer problems through discovery efforts that include feedback from clients, internal teams, competitors, and data analysis.
  • Partner with design and engineering to evolve existing products and introduce new functionality through MVPs, with an emphasis on rapid learning and iteration.
  • Support product transformation by modernizing current user experiences and improving workflows to align with customer needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of features and address development gaps as needed.
  • Monitor and improve adoption and usage of existing products using key metrics such as CAC, LTV, ARPU, and churn rates.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to align product improvements with go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition efforts.

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS (enterprise or SMB).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product transformation initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
  • Passion for improving customer experience and solving real-world problems through software.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and making data-informed decisions in evolving environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication across organizational levels.
  • Experience with Agile processes and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
  • Solid understanding of product discovery, software development cycles, and architectural trade-offs.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience in the Petcare industry or familiarity with Petcare services and customer workflows.
  • Exposure to design thinking and proficiency with prototyping and design tools.
  • Experience with user feedback and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, FullStory, Pendo).
  • Knowledge of API-based integrations and B2B2C software models.
  • Familiarity with customer-centric methodologies like Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD).

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
