Job Description

Join Our Journey at Engine

At Engine, we’re revolutionizing work travel. Our modern travel platform isn’t just about booking trips; it’s about transforming how businesses and their teams experience travel. From seamless booking options with top airlines, hotels, and car rental providers to single-invoice billing and flexible trip modifications, we make travel not only easier to manage but also enjoyable. Backed by powerhouse investors like Telescope Partners, Blackstone, Elefund, and Permira, we’re growing fast—and we want you to be part of it.

Engine is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Marketing to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will own the end-to-end product marketing strategy and performance for a key product or portfolio, directly impacting its revenue goals. This is an incredible opportunity for a full-stack product marketer who is ready to build, execute fast, and drive measurable results in a high-velocity environment.

You will act as a critical bridge between product, sales, and marketing, translating product capabilities into compelling, value-driven narratives that resonate with our target audience and drive rapid adoption and revenue. If you're excited by the challenge of building a go-to-market engine from the ground up and seeing your efforts quickly translate into business outcomes, this role is for you.

Your Mission:

As a Senior Manager, Product Marketing at Engine, you'll play a vital role in an environment where speed meets impact. Here’s what you’ll own:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and lead the overall go-to-market plan for your product(s), ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and rapid revenue targets.
  • Market & Customer Intelligence: Conduct deep market research to understand customer needs, the competitive landscape, and market trends, identifying high-leverage opportunities for quick wins and long-term leadership.
  • Compelling Messaging & Positioning: Define and craft clear, empathetic, and value-driven product positioning and messaging that differentiates our solutions and drives immediate action from target audiences.
  • Innovative Campaigns: Create and execute high-impact marketing initiatives and communication plans that accelerate acquisition, activation, and retention in a fast sales cycle.
  • Sales Enablement & Collateral: Generate essential customer case studies, product one-pagers, sales decks, and other collateral to empower our sales teams for high-velocity deals and guide communication efforts across multiple audiences and channels.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with product management, sales, digital marketing, and other cross-functional teams to develop strategic frameworks and assets, ensuring cohesive execution and rapid iteration.
  • Performance & Optimization: Measure and analyze GTM performance with a focus on quick feedback loops, adjusting strategies to meet business objectives and maximize revenue contribution in a high-volume environment.

What You’ll Bring to Engine:

We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an immediate impact and grow alongside us:

  • Related Experience: 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector, with a strong track record of success in B2B marketing campaigns. Experience with a fast, high-volume sales motion (e.g., deals closing in weeks, not months) is highly preferred.
  • Proven Revenue Contribution (Fast Cycle): Demonstrated ability to articulate and showcase how past product marketing efforts directly led to measurable revenue contributions within a short sales cycle.
  • Demonstrated Impact on Key Metrics (High-Velocity): Specific examples of influencing lead generation, optimizing sales win rates, and expanding upsell and cross-sell opportunities in high-volume, quick-win scenarios.
  • High-Leverage Growth Initiative Execution: Proven ability to identify and successfully execute strategies that yielded significant business results rapidly.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to create compelling product narratives and present complex ideas simply and authentically.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies, adapt as necessary, and make data-informed decisions even amidst ambiguity.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve product marketing goals, fostering strong relationships and driving alignment.

Tools: Hands-on experience with relevant marketing and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pendo, Figma, CRM, analytics platforms).

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
