Job Description
Reports to: Director, Product Marketing
Location: Remote US
Compensation Range: $160,000 to $180,000 base, plus bonus and equity
What We Do:
Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.
We protect 3M+ endpoints and 1M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.
What You’ll Do:
Huntress is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Huntress Managed EDR. Huntress has four products: Managed EDR, Managed ITDR, Managed SAT, and Managed SIEM. These products are united by the Huntress Managed Security Platform, our threat experts and our SOC. We are looking for a product marketer to take our positioning and messaging to the next level and help Huntress win even more customers.
This position is responsible for the primary aspects of product marketing for Managed EDR, including messaging and positioning, content creation, sales enablement, and the overall go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cybersecurity and have a proven history of success in product marketing.
You will collaborate across the business from the entire marketing function, sales, product management, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Positioning and Messaging: Develop and evolve a compelling narrative and value proposition for Huntress Managed EDR. Build content and help design campaigns that highlight the offering’s differentiators and benefits to stand out from the competition.
- Product Alignment: Partner with Product Management to drive the strategy around product positioning for existing capabilities and new launches. You will help plan and launch new offerings, capabilities, and releases to the market.
- Sales Enablement: Be the subject matter expert and product evangelist. Work with the sales team to develop programs that help drive the pipeline, convert opportunities, and expand into existing accounts.
- Demand Generation: Work with the Growth Marketing and Brand teams to hone the strategy and marketing programs that drive demand. Be proactive in recognizing where the business may need marketing support and the effective levers to pull.
What You Bring To The Team:
- 3+ years of product marketing experience in cyber security.
- A strong knowledge of the security industry and hacker tradecraft is desired. Experience with MSP and other channel-driven go-to-market strategies or SMB-focused offerings is desirable. Experience with MDR and service-led offerings is a bonus.
- A proven track record of creating messaging, positioning, assets, and supporting campaign concepts that stand out in the marketplace and resonate with prospects. We want someone who isn’t afraid to push the envelope and try new things to help Huntress win new business.
- Strong emotional intelligence and a natural collaborator. We need a high-performance self-starter who is always up for a challenge and takes ownership of their work. We’re looking for someone who can work across teams and handle the ups and downs of a rapid-growth company as we scale up.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills with an ability to break down complex concepts into understandable messaging. Expertise in collaborating with design and content marketing teams to create a range of different types of content (one-pagers, website content, whitepapers, demo videos, etc.).
- Comfortable creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments, with a talent for persuasive communication.
- Creativity, energy, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to put your stamp on the product and make a big difference for Huntress and the customers we serve. We want someone who believes in the Huntress mission as much as we do.
What We Offer:
- 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
- Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
- 12 weeks of paid parental leave
- Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
- 401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution
- Life and Disability insurance plans
- Stock options for all full-time employees
- One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office
- Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance
- $75 USD/month digital reimbursement
- Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
