Thyme Care
Senior/Recruiting Operations Manager
Job Description
OUR MISSION
Imagine building a better healthcare journey for patients with cancer, where individuals and their loved ones feel seen, supported, and heard by their care team – both in and out of the clinic. Where fast access to high-quality care is the norm, not the exception. Where patients have access to a care navigator to guide them through their diagnosis and trusted support all along the way.
At Thyme Care, we share a passion for transforming the cancer care experience – not just for patients but also for their caregivers and loved ones, as well as those delivering and paying for their care. Today, Thyme Care is known predominantly as a cancer care navigation company enabling value-based cancer care; in the next few years, we will become a nationally recognized technology-driven and provider-centric care delivery model, reshaping the landscape of cancer care access, delivery, and experience. Our commitment runs deep—we're not satisfied with the status quo but determined to redefine it.
To make this happen, we’re building a diverse team of problem solvers and critical thinkers to drive innovation and shape the future of healthcare. If you share our vision and want to be part of something truly meaningful, we want to hear from you. Together, we can revolutionize cancer care and make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
At Thyme Care, we are dedicated to creating a transformative experience for people navigating their cancer journey. We believe this begins with hiring exceptional, compassionate, and mission-driven individuals. As the Senior/Recruiting Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in shaping and optimizing recruiting operations to meet the growing needs of our fast-paced, high-growth health-tech startup. You will work closely with the recruiting and leadership teams to build scalable processes, drive efficiency, and ensure a seamless, data-driven approach to recruiting across all roles.
- Oversee and optimize the end-to-end recruiting operations process, including pipeline management, interview coordination, and offer management, to ensure an efficient and effective hiring experience.
- Lead and mentor a small team of two recruiting coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and excellence within the recruiting team.
- Develop and implement scalable recruiting systems, tools, and processes to drive operational excellence and improve the speed and quality of hires across corporate and frontline teams, partnering with People, Operations, IT, and Finance teams.
- Optimize and analyze recruiting metrics and data to inform decision-making, identify opportunities for process improvements, and ensure that the recruiting team meets its hiring goals.
- Manage and optimize the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools, ensuring that the team is using the most effective technologies to scale recruiting efforts.
- Support recruitment team training initiatives, ensuring that the team is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and best practices to perform at their best.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
- 6+ years of experience in recruiting, ideally within a high-volume non-exempt and exempt workforce, with at least two years in recruiting operations.
- 2+ years of previous management or team leadership experience.
- Proven experience managing and optimizing recruiting workflows, systems, and tools in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
- Expertise in applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate relationship management (CRM) tools, and recruiting technology stacks. Greenhouse experience is preferred.
- Strong data analysis skills, with experience tracking and reporting on recruiting metrics to drive process improvements and optimize performance.
- Proven track record of building scalable and efficient recruiting operations processes to meet evolving hiring needs.
- Experience in training and mentoring teams on best practices and continuous improvement in recruiting operations.
WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS
- Act with our members in mind. Thyme Care’s mission matters deeply to you, particularly our member experience.
- Data-Driven – You leverage data and metrics to optimize processes, track performance, and continuously improve recruiting operations.
- Process-Oriented – You excel at building and refining systems, processes, and tools that drive operational efficiency and consistency across teams.
- Effective listener and communicator. You are persuasive and articulate, but always start by listening. You build rapport, trust, and great working relationships with colleagues.
- Expertise. You’ll excel in this role if you have a passion for recruiting and mentoring and love building efficient, scalable processes. It is essential that you are data-driven and willing to learn new tools and technology. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives on finding solutions and eliminating roadblocks to enhance the recruitment process.
- Strategic Thinker – You bring a strategic mindset to operations and can see both the big picture and the details, ensuring that operational plans align with the broader company vision.
- Comfort with ambiguity. You have a proven track record of success within scaling businesses, fast-paced environments, and startups. You understand that rapid changes to the business, strategy, organization, and priorities is par for the course.
