Job Description

Come join a company who is a key leader in the industry scaling the next core commerce infrastructure and on the path from $100M to $500M! Founded in 2012, Salsify helps brand manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in over 80 countries collaborate to win on the digital shelf. As the market leader globally, our products are shopper-centric, frictionless, and create memorable commerce experiences. Our products provide a competitive edge through experiences that improve brand trust, amplify product differentiation and assortments, increase conversion rate, improve profit margins, and speed time to market.

Learn how the world’s largest brands, including Mars, L'Oreal, Coca-Cola, Bosch, and GSK, as well as retailers and distributors such as E.Leclerc, Carrefour, Metro, and Intermarché use Salsify everyday to stand out on the digital shelf.

At Salsify, we strive to embody an equitable, diverse, and inclusive company culture. We are united across countries, levels, tenures, and a host of other dimensions of diversity. We understand that while work is just one aspect of who we are, a truly inclusive culture accounts for the full authenticity of every single human being that works here.

About the Opportunity

About the Opportunity

Salsify’s Network team is on a mission to grow and scale the world’s most trusted, open, and complete product data network. As a Senior Network Strategy and Operations Associate, you will own the end-to-end process of bringing new network channels to market and launching needle-moving network growth strategies. You will own, build and facilitate a delivery framework that ensures a seamless journey to provide our brand customers with new syndication destinations, while also creating success and value for our retail customers – a true opportunity to impact both sides of our network.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is:

  • Passionate about delivery processes and driving cross-functional collaboration, including Retail Success, Customer Success, R&D, Professional Services, Support, and go-to-market functions
  • Equally adept at building and optimizing delivery processes as well as shepherding initiatives through those processes to achieve results and measure outcomes
  • Skilled in balancing a strategic delivery vision with meticulous attention to detail and follow-up

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Maximize customer value for both sides of our network by facilitating new destination releases through effective program planning frameworks and tools
  • Enable future-facing Customer and Support teams by clearly communicating the roadmap and driving change and release communications.
  • Enhance cross-functional collaboration and clarity for all new, migrated, and improved channel releases
  • Create innovation and production capacity by organizing strategic programs for the Retail Strategy & Operations team

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • Structured Thinker: You enjoy shaping vague or complex questions and hypotheses into organized, structured analyses and frameworks (i.e., untangling the knot).

  • Outcome-Oriented: You focus on insights that compel action, not just interesting findings.

  • Evidence-Guided: You back recommendations with thorough analysis, balancing attention to detail with efficiency.

  • Curious & Resourceful: You delight in learning, exploring new ideas, collaboratively brainstorming, and proactively seeking out information or experts.

  • Proactively Collaborative: You excel at working independently, but also actively build relationships to foster healthy dialogue and gain stakeholder buy-in or feedback.

  • Agile: You adjust quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high quality standards, and enjoy operating with some degree of ambiguity.

Must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Program Manager, Traffic Manager, Milestone Manager, or similar role leading multiple product or program initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous tasks and stakeholders effectively
  • Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional team results and addressing misalignment
  • Ability to anticipate risks and challenges in programs, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and simplify complex materials
  • Experience in reporting status and risks to executive leadership and managing change communications across teams.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, including the ability to break down a problem, logically structure thoughts, identify key questions, challenge assumptions, and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to empathize with diverse stakeholders and adapt strategies to align with their perspectives while achieving project objectives.
  • Comfortable operating with high energy and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • SaaS experience
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience developing and rolling out process frameworks and managing change effectively

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
