Your Role:
The Senior Sales Development Representative, Channel, supports a top Tenable partner and our sales team. This individual is responsible for generating new business by working with the extended channel team and partner to develop and qualify opportunities.
Your Opportunity:
- Collaborate with partners to generate new business and expansion opportunities
- Attend partner and customer facing events
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with both internal and external parties
- Perform outbound calls to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline
- Follow-up on inbound sales inquiries to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline
- Schedule meetings and demos for sales Territory Managers after proper lead qualification
- Promote Tenable and partner events and webinars for the region
- Attend and represent Tenable at customer-facing events, engagements and trainings
- Research target accounts for outbound call campaigns
- Manage and maintain the company’s contact and account databases as it relates to the respective region
- Make 50+ calls per day to inbound and outbound sales prospects
- Generate at a minimum 7 new meetings / demos per week
- Performs other related duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or similar client support role
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to travel for events, client meetings, etc...
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
- Strong understanding of the partner ecosystems
- Must be detail oriented and capable of accurate work with minimal supervision
And Ideally:
- Familiarity with the partner’s people, processes, and culture
- Computer proficiency – experience using Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
- Bachelor’s degree

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
