What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end social content creation process—from strategy to execution—to drive brand awareness, support product consideration, and contribute to pipeline.
- Develop and manage a network of freelancers, creators, and agencies to produce high-quality content for social—across formats like video, animation, carousels, and memes.
- Write sharp, engaging copy for organic posts that reflects Apollo’s tone and drives engagement across platforms.
- Repurpose and remix existing content—customer stories, product launches, events, blog posts, webinars—into platform-native social formats.
- Manage the social editorial calendar and scheduling, ensuring timely alignment with campaigns, product moments, and cultural conversations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including demand gen and acquisition to advise on paid social strategies, comms teams to craft executive social presence—and partner with teams to identify opportunities to scale UGC and influencer content across channels and campaigns.
- Track and report on channel performance, identifying insights to optimize strategy and inform cross-functional partners.
- Stay plugged into the latest trends with AI tools, platform updates, creator culture, and emerging formats to keep Apollo ahead of the curve.
What We’re Looking For
- 7-10 years of experience owning organic social for a high-growth startup or modern B2B brand
- Deep knowledge of platform best practices (especially LinkedIn, X, and TikTok) and strong creative instincts
- Exceptional storytelling skills—comfortable flexing tone and format across channels
- Strategic mindset with the ability to build and evolve a multi-channel social strategy tailored to target audiences—understanding what works where, and why
- Proven track record of growing social audiences and delivering content that drives engagement and brand lift
- Experience managing freelance creators, creative social agencies, and influencer relationships
- Familiarity with social tools like Sprout, Figma, Notion, Canva, etc.
- Confident in creating channel specific social content independently and cross-functionally—experience with video editing and design
- Comfortable analyzing performance data and applying insights to evolve content strategy
- A love for fast-paced environments, AI-forward marketing, and building things from 0 to 1

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
