Your impact

Senior Software Engineers are the center of the engineering teams at Correlation One. They learn and understand their team’s technical blueprint and develop software in line with this technical blueprint. They learn and deliver to the highest standards of excellence during the development. They create the culture of craftsmanship within their team and deliver high quality code to production. They push themselves to excel in their deliverables while improving the velocity of the deliverables. They are open to mentorship on leadership, technology and culture. A day in the life

• Build and deliver responsive javascript web applications
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure our software is robust
• Collaborate with design and product teams to build high quality user experiences
• Deliver large tasks with some ambiguity
• Understand and uphold standards for engineering and operational excellence
• Create and maintain documentation of technical designs and technical support activities
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Your expertise

• 7+ years of professional software development experience building web applications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with client-side frameworks, such as React, Redux, Angular, or similar modern JS frameworks accepted
• 3+ years of proficiency in React
• Knowledge of web standards and responsive design principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consuming and building RESTFul web-services
• Experience writing high-performance, reusable code for components that will be used across our product
• Basic knowledge of relational/non-relational databases and unstructured storage
• Proficient in coding standards, code reviews, devops and delivering high quality software
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Experience with git, continuous integration and deployment tools
• Technologies we use: Python, Java, Django, Flask, React, NextJs, Postgres, Kubernetes, GCP
• Formal education (PhD, Masters or Bachelors) in a technical discipline

• This role is remote with a strong preference for candidates located in Jordan - must be compatible with working EST time zone.

The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets.
