Pulumi is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to articulate the value of Pulumi's products to the world. You will be a part of realizing a vision that empowers every developer to program the cloud.
In this role, you will help technical leaders, engineering managers, and software engineers understand how Pulumi’s technologies transform cloud infrastructure automation, security, and management, while driving measurable outcomes for their businesses. Your focus will include defining our positioning and messaging to developers and technical decision-makers, enabling field teams, crafting compelling content, and supporting go-to-market initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption. This position offers a balance of collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams, as well as opportunities to work on content that resonates with technical audiences.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to distill complex technical features into clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging tailored to developers and technical decision-makers
- Develop high-quality, audience-specific content – blogs, videos, case studies, demos, presentations, landing pages, whitepapers, and more – that supports both sales and broader marketing initiatives
- Partner with the sales team to create and maintain sales resources, such as pitch decks, competitive analysis, solution briefs, and battle cards
- Support go-to-market campaigns by delivering technical content aligned with Pulumi’s value propositions and key use cases
- Research industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to refine messaging and content strategies
- Act as a trusted resource for field teams, helping them effectively position Pulumi’s products in conversations with developers and technical decision-makers
- Contribute to broader marketing efforts, including webinars, events, and industry thought leadership
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in technology marketing, product marketing, engineering, or product management, ideally in developer tools, DevOps, or cloud technologies
- A strong understanding of modern software development practices, cloud infrastructure, and the needs of developers and engineering teams. A bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into language that resonates with diverse audiences, from developers to technical decision-makers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and the ability to execute with high quality in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
- Base Salary Hiring Range: $150,000 - $185,000
- All full time employee offers at Pulumi include base salary, bonus or variable, equity and benefits (details below).
