We are seeking an Insights Practitioner to join our team as a Sr UX Researcher for an exciting project. You will act as a trusted thought leader and practitioner for creating impactful end-to-end experiences. This is a contract position with a duration of 5 weeks.
Your background in providing user insights that lead to high-quality, human-centered, and business value-based experiences will be the key to discovering opportunities where Designit can drive greater impact for our client and users at large. In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, you will drive and own strategic user research activities and deliver actionable findings into future iterations of a product or service.

- Drive research activities that capture the user voice and behavior to inform design, product, and development, including but not limited to usability studies and 1:1 user interviews
- Develop research artifacts like discussion and observation guides, journey maps and insights reports
- Communicate, defend, and build consensus around your research and how it informs design decisions
- Document and present strategic recommendations and your point of view based on research and analysis
- Uphold and represent UX research and design methodologies and best practices, to collaborate with and advise designers, engineers, and researchers on the project
We would like you to have...
- 5+ years of experience conducting user research and driving tangible outcomes with product & design teams
- 3+ years of experience using varied quantitative and qualitative research techniques across multiple stages of the design & product process
- 1+ years of experience with exposure to healthcare, regulated industries, or high-sensitivity user data
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Journalism, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate rich customer data and articulate the implications of research findings in clear and compelling ways
- Strong business acumen, aligning design solutions with client objectives and needs.
- Ability to advocate for inclusive, user-centric, and data-driven digital products/ experiences
- Excellent project management skills and proven ability to work within tight timelines and with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating with distributed teams across disciplines to drive change into products and services
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Comfortable in an individual contributor and consulting role
- Experienced in client-facing positions and presentations to executive-level audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with clients and stakeholders
Compensation: Starting at $55/HR+
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during the interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
