Job Description

As a Senior UX Researcher at PandaDoc (Growth track), you will play a key role in driving user-centric design and influencing product strategy. Leveraging your extensive research experience, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead strategic projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our research processes. This is a maternity cover until May 2026.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with design, product, marketing, and sales colleagues to understand business needs, design appropriate research studies to generate user-focused insights, and translate those insights into actionable recommendations that inform innovation and execution.
  • Plan, design and conduct user research studies, including surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups, and concept/prototype testing. Conduct in-depth analysis of research findings to uncover insights and opportunities.
  • Communicate and deliver compelling research findings and recommendations in the appropriate format for the relevant audience (e.g., reports, presentations, workshops) to shift the focus to our customers and drive product strategy.
  • Engage with stakeholders to answer strategic business questions, fostering alignment and understanding across the Product organization.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring user needs are a top priority.

About you:

  • 5+ years of research experience, ideally from a similar industry, working in B2B SaaS companies with a strong emphasis on research and product-led growth. Background in research, psychology, statistics, human-computer interaction, interaction design or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of common and emerging research methods and data analytics, with the ability to independently create and execute multi-method research roadmaps for large-scale complex projects.
  • Ability to analyze existing research from multiple internal and external sources to arrive at a clearly articulated, informed opinion.
  • Experience advocating for customers' needs within cross-functional teams by delivering effective written reports, engaging presentations, crisp summaries, interactive workshops, and visual artifacts.
  • Proficient at building trust and confidence with stakeholders and pushing back to support better outcomes for users or customers. Can demonstrate consistent use of UX research to influence decision-makers to change product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, adaptability, and perseverance in solving challenging problems.
  • Passion for guiding and supporting junior colleagues, as well as individuals who may not have a background in research, by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and fostering professional development
  • Advanced verbal and written English skills.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
