WHAT YOU’LL DO

The role of Social Talent Coordinator will work closely with the EIC, as well as audience, design, and editorial teams to execute the social media strategy for individual editors as well as PS brand accounts, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, and other priority platforms. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging content, and facilitating a strong online presence and community.

The position reports to the Editor-in-Chief with a direct line to the Director of Audience Development and works collaboratively with various team members.

This individual is ideally a digital native, flexible to changing strategies, creative, and passionate about fostering a community online.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Work closely with the EIC and Audience Development Director to establish social strategy for front-facing talent on the editorial team
  • Map out content plan, franchises, and personal POV for editors; facilitate and build promotional plans including detailed short and long-term planning for consistent social, newsletter, and relationship-building with the audience
  • Capture social moments connected to PS content, bringing to life PS content coverage & sensibility through the editor POV in their own voices
  • Execute social media strategy and content execution for internal talent accounts as well as PS brand accounts as needed
  • Create content for larger brand moments, editorial sponsorships, and experiential events, including behind the scenes and front-facing
  • Working closely with editors to schedule social posts across all major platforms
  • Create content for Threads and Pinterest, ensuring PS voice across all posts
  • Facilitating and moderating community conversations on all social platforms

WHO YOU ARE

  • Digital native with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively
  • Strong journalistic judgment
  • 2+ years of experience

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
