The Role
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our mobile strategy and delivering world-class experiences to users on iOS and Android. You'll lead a team of talented mobile engineers while remaining hands-on with code and architecture. You’ll drive technical excellence across our mobile applications, setting best practices in mobile development, performance optimization, and UI/UX standards.
Beyond technical contributions, you'll foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture. You’ll be deeply involved in coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career growth for mobile engineers. Working closely with product, design, and other engineering leaders, you’ll drive mobile-first thinking and deliver high-impact outcomes—not just output.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about mobile platforms, user-centric design, and team leadership. Your impact will be felt through mentorship, technical innovation, and the development of robust, scalable mobile products.
In your tool-bag:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with deep expertise in native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, or React Native).
- Proven track record of shipping and maintaining high-quality mobile apps in production environments.
- Strong architecture and coding skills, with a focus on mobile performance, testing, and scalability.
- Previous experience as an Engineering Manager, with a track record of growing and mentoring mobile engineering teams.
- Passion for creating seamless mobile user experiences and solving complex problems with elegant mobile-first solutions.
- Skilled in managing team performance, providing actionable feedback, and identifying career growth opportunities.
- Effective cross-functional collaborator, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to refine mobile development processes, improve app stability and performance, and enhance team productivity.
