Our Groups team is booming with business, and we need your help! Our Sourcing Specialists are tasked with leveraging relationships with our hotel suppliers to source, negotiate, and contract group booking requests and large-scale projects for Engine's clients. In addition, Sourcing Specialist's collaborate with Groups Sales Managers to ensure the best hotel options are provided to fit the client’s exact needs. Here's what you'll do:

  • Responsible for supporting Groups Sales department by sourcing hotels, managing RFPs, and ensuring timely follow-up to align with client needs, budget, and location preferences, aiming to win the clients' business.
  • Consistently meet ambitious monthly sales targets to drive business growth and achieve team objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and hotel partners to facilitate seamless group bookings.
  • Source and book group projects using Engine’s internal database and CRM (Salesforce).
  • Assist with process improvements and contribute to the growth and scalability of the Groups Team.
  • Handle additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the team’s success.

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and creative solution skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize work with strict timelines
  • An innovative mindset; constantly identifying creative solutions to streamline processes
  • Ability to manage stress and maintain professional composure, while executing multiple requests and projects simultaneously
  • A fast learner who is comfortable with ambiguity, and an evolving department vision
  • A tenacious go-getter with a natural will to win. A team player who will roll up their sleeves and lean in to support the team
  • 2+ years Customer Service experience required. Hotel Industry and Group Reservations experience preferred
  • Extremely tech savvy – you learn new systems and processes quickly and leverage them for efficiency
  • Proficiency in Google Suite required; experience with Salesforce, Asana, and Slack is a plus!

Cash compensation:

The base hourly rate for this role is $22.00 - $26.00/hour with a target variable compensation paid monthly of up to $12,000 - $14,000 annually for 100% on target earnings. Based on performance and tenure, employees are eligible for professional growth through dedicated career pathing.

Remote Opportunities:

This role is eligible for remote work. Engine is authorized to do business in all 50 states.

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST*

Our designated member support team supports our members 7 days a week throughout the year. However, due to the high demand nature of our business, this position may require additional hours outside standard working shifts; including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
