About this role:

We're seeking our first Go-to-Market Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Revenue Operations team. The hired candidate will report to the Head of Revenue Operations and serve as a strategic partner to all GTM teams, but especially Marketing. You're a good candidate for this role if building automations to magnify impact motivates you, you enjoy working with integrations, workflows, AI, and new tools, and you have a passion for connecting the dots to scale processes at a growth stage SaaS company.

We have built a sophisticated GTM tech stack and are now looking for someone who can help us take it to the next level. You'll collaborate closely with our Content, Demand Generation, and Events teams to ensure effective campaign management, systems integration, and analytics. Additionally, you'll ensure that we have robust data management and lead scoring programs to support our team of experienced marketers, sales professionals, and revenue operations leaders.

The type of person who will thrive in this role doesn’t just enjoy supporting their peers with process management but takes it a step further to automate away manual processes entirely.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Technology Stack & Automation:

  • Architect Ashby’s MarTech stack. This includes tools, workflows, data, and integrations. Today, we use tools like HubSpot, Clay, Cargo, UserGems, Dreamdata, Instantly, and Relevance AI.

  • Stay on the cutting edge. Own the research and evaluation of new tools and technologies to augment Ashby’s marketing tech stack

  • Write and maintain simple scripts. Some of our advanced workflows require some basic JavaScript, Python and SQL to do things like normalize data fields or copy data between systems.

Data Management & Analysis:

  • Own the quality and governance of GTM data. Ensure accuracy and consistency across systems. Maintain our deal source attribution model to optimize marketing investments.

  • Capture buyer intent. In partnership with the Demand Generation team, maintain our CRM’s Account, Contact, and Intent Signals. Enrich the CRM to support ABM efforts.

  • Uncover key insights. Use your analytical skills to create reports, interpret trends, and provide actionable recommendations.

Campaign Operations & Reporting:

  • Measure marketing campaign performance: Collaborate with Content, Demand Generation, and Events teams to execute and measure campaign effectiveness

  • Automate data ingestion / integration. Ensure data ingestion into Hubspot post-campaign is seamless. Build processes that allow Marketing teams’ to self-service this work.

  • Identify and troubleshoot anomalies, addressing root causes. Build Ashby data fluency so that you are able to ensure the reliability of key metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as a key link.Collaborate across Marketing programs and Sales execution within the Revenue Operations team.

  • Foster alignment. Focus on effective communication and shared success across GTM teams.

Interview Plan:

  1. Introductory Call (30 minutes): Initial conversation to discuss your background and interest in the role.

  2. Interview with Hiring Manager (45 minutes): Deep dive into your experience and how it aligns with the role.

  3. Interview with Head of Marketing (45 minutes): Discussion on strategic alignment and collaboration with the marketing team.

  4. Assignment: A practical task to assess your problem-solving skills and technical capabilities.

  5. Team Interviews: Meetings with additional team members to evaluate cultural fit and cross-functional collaboration skills.
