Job Description
Vimeo is seeking an experienced and passionate Sr. Principal Product Manager to join our Product Growth team focused on activation and engagement. You will be accountable for achieving our product usage targets by meaningfully activating new customers to ensure they find value and become repeat users. You will be a champion of product-led growth, leveraging your expertise to identify opportunities, formulate hypotheses, and execute A/B experiments that result in tangible user growth. This role requires a data-driven mindset, a deep understanding of user behavior, and a collaborative spirit.
What you’ll do:
- Own Self-Serve Activation & Engagement: Own the strategy, roadmap, and targets for activating new self-serve customers and driving repeat usage.
- Identify Growth Opportunities: Continuously analyze user and product data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities to optimize the user journey and drive acquisition.
- Develop & Test Hypotheses: Formulate data-informed hypotheses and design A/B experiments to validate assumptions and measure the impact of product changes on acquisition.
- Analyze & Iterate: Rigorously analyze experiment results, draw actionable insights, and iterate on product experiences to maximize conversion rates and user engagement.
- Conduct Customer Research: Plan and execute user research initiatives (e.g., surveys, user interviews, usability testing) to deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and motivations.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Engineering, Product Design, Product Marketing, User Research to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.
- Monitor Key Metrics: Track and analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of growth strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of the latest product-led growth best practices, tools, and technologies to ensure Vimeo remains at the forefront of user acquisition.
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- 7+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on growth and product adoption.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing product-led growth strategies that resulted in measurable user growth.
- Deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience with user research methodologies and a passion for understanding customer behavior.
- Strong analytical skills and fluency in core SaaS metrics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Base Salary Range:
- NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $192,000 - $264,750
- All other US cities outside above metro areas: $172,800 - $238,275
