Job Description

OUR MISSION

Imagine building a better healthcare journey for cancer patients, where individuals and their loved ones feel seen, supported, and heard by their care team – both in and out of the clinic. Where fast access to high-quality care is the norm, not the exception. Where patients have access to a care navigator to guide them through their diagnosis and trusted support all along the way.

At Thyme Care, we share a passion for transforming the cancer care experience – not just for patients but also for their caregivers and loved ones, as well as those delivering and paying for their care. Today, Thyme Care is known predominantly as a cancer care navigation company enabling value-based cancer care; in the next few years, we will become a nationally recognized technology-driven and provider-centric care delivery model, reshaping the landscape of cancer care access, delivery, and experience. Our commitment runs deep—we're not satisfied with the status quo but determined to redefine it.

To make this happen, we’re building a diverse team of problem solvers and critical thinkers to drive innovation and shape the future of healthcare. If you share our vision and want to be part of something truly meaningful, we want to hear from you. Together, we can revolutionize cancer care and make a difference that lasts a lifetime.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a skilled professional with 6+ years of healthcare/healthtech marketing experience to own end-to-end product marketing efforts that enable Thyme Care to effectively communicate the value of its solution to our key B2B audiences: Payers and Providers. This person will work collaboratively with the marketing, growth, account management, product, and leadership teams to craft value messaging and positioning, build and socialize market intelligence, and enable the success of our growth and account management teams through the development of targeted messaging and collateral to support the entire buyer journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring subject matter expertise in oncology, health plans, and provider segments to guide strategic initiatives. Use this knowledge to cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product, growth, and marketing counterparts to develop clear and compelling product positioning and value propositions that differentiate Thyme Care and its products in the market.
  • Work closely with the payer growth and provider teams to develop high-quality collateral, including brochures, whitepapers, case studies, and digital content tailored to healthcare audiences.
  • Provide the growth teams with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell Thyme Care’s products and services, including presentations, battle cards, and FAQs.
  • Contribute to Thyme Care’s events strategy and execution, including conferences, webinars, and partner activations, to drive awareness and generate business demand.
  • Build deep expertise in the competitive landscape to inform differentiated messaging, collateral, and the evolution of our products and programs.
  • Collaborate with account management and member engagement teams on campaign tactics and content to drive adoption of Thyme Care products and programs among patients and providers.

WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS:

To thrive in this role, a candidate should:

  • Bring a strong understanding of the healthcare industry -particularly payer and oncology group audiences - and a passion for tackling meaningful problems in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Showcase proven experience in product marketing, preferably within the B2B healthcare space.
  • Have experience managing and influencing across multiple stakeholders and is excited by the prospect of working collaboratively with sales, product, clinical and other functions to develop Thyme Care’s positioning.
  • Have strong project management and organizational skills, with a knack for building processes from scratch and ability to keep track of many moving pieces.
  • Exhibit a strategic mindset, with the ability to proactively craft and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with business goals.

OUR VALUES

At Thyme Care, our core values guide us in everything we do: Act with our members in mind, Move with purpose, and Seek diverse perspectives. They anchor our business decisions, including how we grow, the products we make, and the paths we choose—or don’t choose.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Thyme Care. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Thyme Care employees. The base salary for this role is $145,000-$170,000 a year. The salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired at another level.

We recognize a history of inequality in healthcare. We’re here to challenge the status quo and create a culture of inclusion through the care we give and the company we build. We embrace and celebrate a diversity of perspectives in reflection of our members and the members we serve. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
