Saga is building the foundation for a new era of the internet: the Web3 multiverse. Our mission is to empower developers to launch thousands of sovereign chains effortlessly, unlocking unprecedented scalability, flexibility, and creativity in decentralized applications.
We provide the tools, infrastructure, and ecosystem support for builders to bring their most ambitious ideas to life — without compromise. As part of the Saga team, you’ll be shaping the future of blockchain infrastructure and enabling a world where every application has its own optimized environment.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be at the heart of Saga’s engineering execution. You’ll own the delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives that span blockchain protocol development, distributed infrastructure, validator operations, and developer tools. You will work closely with engineering leads, product managers, designers, and external partners—including external validators—to ensure smooth coordination for network upgrades and operational readiness. Your role will ensure all stakeholders, from engineering to validators, are aligned so Saga continues to ship high-quality, high-impact capabilities at startup speed.
Responsibilities:
● Lead large-scale, technical programs from inception to launch, ensuring strategic alignment and flawless execution which will include (but not limited to):
● Collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams to define scope, timelines, and success metrics.
● Planning and execution of key engineering projects, from initial scoping to final delivery.
● Identifying risks, manage dependencies & bottlenecks, implement contingency plans proactively, and work
with stakeholders to resolve them.
● Coordinating schedules, track deliverables, and maintain clear project documentation.
● Track progress using agile methodologies, data-driven metrics, and transparent reporting.
● Facilitate cross-functional communication and alignment across multiple teams, ensuring priorities remain clear and achievable.
● Drive process improvements that increase engineering efficiency and delivery predictability.
● Partner with leadership to translate product vision into executable roadmaps.
● Ensure effective communication between engineering, product, design, QA, and external collaborators.
Required Qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience in program or project management roles for engineering departments, ideally within high-growth technology companies.
● Ability to maintain a clear view of the broader product and technical roadmap while breaking it down into actionable steps, driving day-to-day execution without losing sight of strategic goals.
● Proven track record managing complex, technical initiatives across multiple teams.
● Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile delivery model.
● Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
● Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
● Technical fluency — able to engage deeply with engineers and understand system-level tradeoffs.
Nice to Have:
● Experience in blockchain, Web3 protocols, or decentralized systems.
● Familiarity with smart contract platforms, developer tooling, or infrastructure-as-a-service.
● Past experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
● Background in developer relations or ecosystem growth.
Why Saga
● Join a mission-driven team building foundational Web3 technology.
● Remote-first flexibility with HQ in Los Altos, CA.
● Competitive compensation, equity, and potential token incentives.
● Opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in blockchain infrastructure.
● A culture of collaboration, curiosity, and builder empowerment.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
