Sr. Technical Program Manager, Platform

We are looking for an experienced senior platform program manager who can drive complex cross-team technical projects, identify and resolve blockers, and set the teams up for success by helping them improve their processes. You will be spending most of your time with highly-technical engineering teams that are responsible for high-scale platforms and infrastructure that make Vimeo’s best-in-class quality possible. What you will do:

  • Shape the Future: Collaborate with engineering teams to craft and implement quarterly roadmaps, ensuring alignment with Vimeo's strategic vision.
  • Technical Maestro: Delve into the intricacies of complex projects, breaking them down into manageable phases and clearly communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration Catalyst: Foster seamless teamwork across multiple engineering teams, proactively identifying and resolving dependencies to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Data-Driven Champion: Implement robust metrics and monitoring systems to track team performance, proactively addressing potential issues and celebrating successes.
  • Strategic Partner: Guide vendor selection and management, forging strong relationships to enhance Vimeo's technological capabilities.
  • Agent of Change: Lead the charge in implementing new services and programs, ensuring a smooth transition for teams and stakeholders.
  • Agile Advocate: Introduce and refine Agile practices, empowering teams to deliver high-quality results efficiently and iteratively.
  • Culture Cultivator: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to learn, adapt, and innovate.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 4+ Years working in a capacity of Program Manager, (with experience in Agile Roles as Scrum Master, Product Owner or Coach)
  • Technical background and expertise, able to facilitate deeply technical discussions
  • Worked closely with multiple engineering teams simultaneously to facilitate planning and product execution, work decomposition.
  • Had successfully implemented new processes to multiple teams and mastered the art of change management
  • Defined metrics, and associated data collection within Jira in a consistent manner
  • Configured and managed Jira workflows, company managed boards
  • Has deep understanding of Agile and Lean values and principles

Base Salary Range:

  • NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $123,000 - $169,500
  • All other US cities outside above metro areas: $110,700 - $152,550
