Why You’ll Love This Role

The Staff Deal Desk Analyst will be a strategic advisor to Sales and the business on all aspects of deal strategy, particularly with regard to pricing, discounting and compliance oversight to ensure deals abide by our bookings and revenue framework. The role ensures each deal is confirmed and validated after execution in a timely fashion and/or escalated as necessary. This role reports to the Director, Deal Desk.


As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will…

  • Work cross-functionally to maintain a best in class deal workflow, considerate of our partners, customers and business complexity
  • Guide deal structure and strategy to sales team; identify and recommend changes related to deal structures in response to observed behavior in the field to Director, Deal Desk
  • Manage deal flow process and ensure smooth handoffs to finance, legal, and product teams
  • Function as point of contact and subject matter expert for sales on pricing and licensing to provide deal structuring and quoting support to our global sales teams
  • Ensure data quality with closed opportunities, order forms, quotes, contracts and subscriptions in sales tools and systems
  • Support our contract data flow and organization from quoting to cash collection and reporting
  • Support our Go-To-Market teams on best practice deal management & contract structuring. Monitor deals through the sales cycle & our approval process in collaboration with Sales, Field Operations and Finance functions.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours


If You’ve Got It - We Want It

  • Extensive experience in deal desk, order management, sales enablement or equivalent deal desk sales operations roles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with diverse cross-functional stakeholders and drive consensus to meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze, model and recommend the best course of action for complex pricing, negotiations, and business situations
  • Ability to manage the opportunity with new customers that require a combination of contracts that can include an order form, SSA and SOW to be executed
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills, mathematical proficiency, strong math background, numeracy, or mathematically inclined to manage complicated deal structures ensuring correct Annual Recurring Revenue calculations
  • Well-organized, strong communication skills and ability to manage and influence internal customers and partners with high motivation for continuous improvement and ability to drive impact
  • Experience using revenue systems forecasting (Clari), CRM (Salesforce) and Configure, Price, Quote (Salesforce-CPQ)
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask as well as excitement to roll up your sleeves and contribute to all parts of the Cribl’s operations. We are a lean team and wear many hats!

Salary Range ($101,500 - $158,600)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
