Job Description
Ironclad is looking for a great 0-1 Product manager to lead the development of a newAI-powered Assistant that will redefine how businesses interact with their contracts and drive productivity beyond our traditional core personas of Legal and Legal Ops. Building on the success of our Jurist AI Assistant for lawyers, we are looking to expand our suite of AI tools to other core functions that can benefit from unlocking the data contained in their contracts.
Ironclad holds the top position in the Forrester Wave for product value and is a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant in the Contract Lifecycle Management category. This is an exciting 0-to-1 product opportunity because it involves serving a new set of personas who are already looking to us for solutions. You’ll have the unique chance to leverage our proven value in the legal domain and expand it to new areas, shaping how AI agents and assistants can unlock even greater business efficiencies.
By joining Ironclad at this pivotal moment, you'll not only drive the creation of a cutting-edge AI Assistant but also play a crucial role in defining and expanding our impact across the enterprise. If you are passionate about creating AI tools and enjoy the challenge of pioneering new markets and personas, we want to hear from you.
Key Skills:
Embrace ambiguity - this role and its structure will likely evolve, especially as we learn more about AI and the adoption of it within the legal space. It’s critical the person in-seat embraces the nature of the “unknown” this role demands
High ownership -- regardless of reporting structure, this role demands high ownership of everything from the strategy to the details of product execution, enablement, GTM partnership, and more to make this successful
Deeply collaborative -- given this is a product separate from, but integrated into, our core CLM product and business, its critical that the lines of communication between teams and across E/P/D and the entire organization (GTM, leadership, and more) are strong and thoughtful
Utilize speed as an advantage -- velocity is the ultimate competitive advantage in roles like this, ideally via a high-performing, tightly knit, cross-functional team
Always model good leadership at your core, and our company values of Drive, Intent, Integrity, and Empathy
Responsibilities
Define the product vision and strategy for Ironclad’s new AI Assistant, including the key market segments, customer personas, and business opportunities.
Drive the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to revenue, working closely with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to bring the product to market.
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including defining buying and user personas, competitive positioning, and revenue models.
Lead product discovery efforts, identifying the unique business problems that AI can solve and ensuring we focus on real customer needs.
Develop processes for rapid experimentation and agile delivery while maintaining a high standard of product quality and user experience.
Partner deeply with Engineering to make informed decisions about technical approaches, including balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform investments.
Communicate the product’s value proposition to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and customer-centric culture within the product team.
Qualifications
8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of defining, building, and bringing 0-to-1 products to market.
Strong technical acumen, including hands-on experience collaborating with engineering teams on AI implementation decisions such as RAG, prompt graphs, and model selection.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, with a strong focus on identifying and solving real customer problems.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with a history of leading teams and partnering closely with GTM to launch and scale new products.
Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
Bonus: Experience in both scaled B2B Saas and startups. You’ll be working on a new product within a larger organization, so experience navigating both types of environment is ideal.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
