Acquia is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the development and adoption of an innovative CMS product for mid-market and enterprise customers. This role demands strong product insight, a solid technical background, business acumen, and data-driven decision-making skills. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of Content Management Systems or Site Building software, and experience with open-source software like Drupal.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow the adoption of Acquia’s CMS products by planning a roadmap featuring innovative, competitive features that leverage Drupal and Acquia’s DXP portfolio.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop requirements, identify dependencies, and deliver value.
- Serve as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders through excellent communication.
Qualifications
- 5-9 years in complex product management or equivalent experience.
- Proven success in defining, launching, and managing enterprise and/or open-source software.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for articulating product concepts to varied stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for data-informed product decisions.
- Leadership skills to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Deep empathy for users with a commitment to user-centric design.
- Experience collaborating with designers, engineers, and UX researchers to balance priorities.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for leading technology and launch teams.
How you will lead
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed on industry trends.
- Monitor customer feedback and usage data for continuous improvement opportunities and feature development.
- Develop value propositions and product positioning alongside marketing and strategy teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions that align with customer and business needs.
- Dive deep into challenging problems without being deterred by technical complexity.
- Oversee well-coordinated product launches aligned with business goals.
- Establish and track performance metrics to guide future product decisions.
- Contribute to enhancing the quality of Acquia's product management community.
