Why You'll Love This Role

Are you a seasoned Product Manager passionate about building and scaling world-class partner ecosystems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, growth-stage SaaS environment and possess a deep understanding of the intricate dance between technology and partner-driven business? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to shape the future of our partner program and significantly contribute to our journey towards becoming a generational company.

As our Staff Product Manager, Partner Systems, you will be the visionary and driving force behind our technology strategy for our extensive network of resellers, service partners, distributors, and marketplace integrations. You will collaborate with Partner Operations to steer the roadmap and execution for critical systems like Allbound PRM, Vartopia, and their integrations with our core Salesforce platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing our partner-facing processes, enhancing collaboration, and ultimately driving more revenue through our valuable partnerships. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's growth trajectory.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will...

  • Partner Systems Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our partner-focused systems, including Allbound PRM, Vartopia, Salesforce, Tackle, Crossbeam, and related integrations.
  • Deep Business Acumen: Develop a profound understanding of our partner business model, including the needs of different partner types (resellers, services partners, marketplaces), their workflows, and the critical data points that drive success.
  • Technical Leadership: Leverage your strong technical understanding of Salesforce, Allbound, Vartopia and other partner applications to translate business requirements into effective and scalable technical solutions. You will work closely with our Enterprise Applications Engineering team to deliver these solutions.
  • Partner Experience Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to improve the partner experience through our systems, making it easier for them to engage with us, access resources, manage deals, and track performance.
  • Integration Excellence: Ensure seamless and efficient integrations between our partner systems and other core platforms, including Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, NetSuite, and relevant sales and marketing tools.
  • Marketplace Strategy: Contribute to the product strategy for our growing presence on CSP marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure), ensuring our systems effectively support these channels.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Define and track key metrics to measure the success of our partner systems, using data to inform prioritization and future investments.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with our Field Operations, Partner Sales, Partner Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams to understand their needs and ensure our partner systems align with broader business objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with technology vendors (e.g., Allbound, Vartopia) to ensure we are maximizing the value of our investments.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours.

If You've Got It - We Want It

  • 5+ Years of Product Management Experience: You have a proven track record of 5 or more years in product management, with a significant focus on partner-facing systems or channel management technologies.
  • Deep Partner Ecosystem Knowledge: You possess a strong understanding of partner business processes, partner relationship management (PRM) strategies, and the unique needs of various partner types (resellers, services partners, distributors, marketplaces).
  • Salesforce Expertise: You have a solid technical understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud and ideally Experience Cloud, with the ability to understand data models, workflows, and integration capabilities.
  • PRM Platform Proficiency: You have hands-on experience with PRM platforms, ideally Allbound and Vartopia, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
  • Strong Technical Aptitude: You are comfortable discussing technical requirements with engineers and can understand the underlying architecture of complex systems. Experience with API integrations is a plus.
  • Excellent Communication & Collaboration Skills: You are a clear and effective communicator, capable of articulating product vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences. You excel at building strong relationships and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You are data-driven and possess strong analytical skills to identify opportunities, define metrics, and solve complex business problems.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
